One of my best friends was recently made homeless by her abusive partner. I’m currently housing her in my apartment in Philadelphia until the lease is up in May, but she needs support to cover living expenses and to help rebuild her life. She literally came here with everything she owns in a single bag.

i know that’s a dire way to kick this off but in fairness, my life is falling apart! my car gave out on me today and i spent so much more money than i thought was possible just to have it towed and i have no idea what’s wrong with it
BUT
if i can at least make rent this month, that gives me a little cushion of time to scrounge together more money for myself and hopefully fix the car problem
literally anything you can spare would be so, so helpful. and if you can’t afford to help monetarily, then please please please spread this, i desperately need the help
